To develop and intensify the research aptitude among the students, BBK DAV College for Women organized one day DBT sponsored Interactive programme ‘Science Adda’ in online mode. Staff and students of various schools participated enthusiastically in the event. Dr. Rashmi Kalia, Head, Department of Life Sciences, apprised the participants of the various initiatives taken by DBT to motivate the students for career progression in science and technology.
A virtual tour of the science labs and video demonstrations of various sophisticated instruments purchased out of DBT grant was also organized for the participants. The queries of the students were taken up by Dr. Shweta Mohan, Head, Department of Physics and Dr. Poonam Khullar, Head, Department of Chemistry. All faculty members of the Department of Science also attended the event.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated Dr. Poonam Khullar, Co-ordinator DBT (Star Status Award) and the entire team for organizing such events.
