BBK DAV College for Women started the Science Week celebrations with great fervour on the occasion of National Science Day on 28th Feb, 2022. Various activities to inculcate scientific temper amongst students are being organized in this week. The theme of National Science Day 2022 is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future’. The students participated enthusiastically in various competitions and activities such as Poster Presentation, Declamation Contest and Scientific Rangoli Competition. The faculty of Science Department motivated and encouraged the students to come up with innovative ideas and projects using inter-disciplinary approach for the benefit of nation and society.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the prize winners and encouraged the staff and students to hold such events. Faculty members Dr. Shweta Mohan, Dr. Poonam Khullar, Ms. Vandana Rawat, Mr. Japinder Singh, Mrs. Amandeep Kaur, Mrs. Lavanya Tandon, Ms. Kulwinder Kaur, Ms. Bhawna, Ms.Payal, Mr. Amardeep Singh were present during the event.
