BBK DAV College for Women’s PG department of Home Science and Fashion Design, brought laurels to the college by winning prizes in different competitions held across the region. Ms. Gurkirat Kaur, won first position in state level Salad Making online competition held at Bebe Nanki University College for Girls, Kapurthala. Ms. Navya Arora of PG Diploma in Garment Construction and Fashion Design bagged second position in Innovative Product Development competition held at DAV College for Girls, Yamunanagar. Ms. Kirandeep Kaur of M. Sc. Fashion Design bagged first position in innovative Jewelry Design Competition, Ms. Ekta Arora and Ms. Pardeep Kaur of M. Sc. Fashion Design and Merchandise won second position in New Avtar Competition. Both the competitions were held at KMV, Jalandhar.
