At the ‘Annual Women Economic Forum 2019’ held at New Delhi from April 11-16, 2019, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia was honoured with ‘Iconic Leader Award’ for her contribution in the field of education and for making the world a better place to live. The award was presented to her by Dr. Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson.
During the conference, she also presented a paper titled ‘Community Development and Women Leadership’. The mega marquee annual multinational WEF 2019 was based on the theme ‘Reimagining Societies: Reclaiming Humanity with Gender Equality’.
Expressing her gratitude on receiving the award, Principal Dr. Walia said, “At Women Economic Forum, one meets women entrepreneurs, leaders, & businesswomen, from across the world.
