TECHRAZE, technical and entrepreneurial festival was organized by PG Department of Computer Science & Applications of BBK DAV College for Women. Technology oriented stalls, fascinating events, intriguing exhibitions and exciting competitions were organized by students, highlighting the face of technical innovation & creativity. The fest was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Sardar Lakhbir Singh, Superintendent of Police, ADCP City-2 in the presence of Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia, Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC, Mr. Salil Kapoor, member of LMC. The Principal welcomed and thanked the guests for gracing this occasion and congratulated computer department for the success of the fest. The fest began with floral welcome extended by student coordinators to the Chief Guest and Principal. The Chief Guest was greatly pleased to be a part of this event and expressed his joy by mentioning that such fests are a treat to watch and have lot more to offer, so students must be encouraged to participate in these kinds of events on a regular basis. It is a great channel where students can showcase their talent and innovative ideas. Students also presented a dance performance which was highly appreciated by the audience.
Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC, in his address, encouraged the students to bring in more innovative ideas which can be a boon for mankind. He also praised the staff members for their efforts in organizing technology-based fest. Students were awarded prizes for depicting their brilliant ideas through various media by the Chief Guest and Principal Madam. The fest concluded with vote of thanks by Head of PG Department of Computer Science & Applications, Ms. Kiran Gupta. It concluded with National Anthem.
