BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar organised a special Havan Yagya to seek divine blessings of the Almighty on the first day of the session 2020-21. Amidst the chanting of mantras and sacred offerings in the holy fire of Havan, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia, Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC, Mr. Sanat Kapoor, special guest on the occasion, along with the members of the teaching and non-teaching staff, prayed for the progress, prosperity and well- being of the college. Sh. Sudershan Kapoor was the Yajman on this occasion.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia highlighted the significance of ‘Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah‘ and ‘Sarbat Da Bhala‘ to conquer the peril of the pandemic Corona Virus. She also emphasized the conservation of nature to overcome such a calamity that threatens the existence of mankind.
Sh. Sudershan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC, blessed all and urged everyone to abide by the will of the omnipotent God. The Havan was attended by the members of Arya Yuvti Sabha and the office bearers of the teaching as well as non-teaching staff.
