BBK DAV College for Women organised Prize Distribution Function of Moral Studies Examination on March 6, 2020. Earlier, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle conducted an exam on Moral Studies to commemorate the 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on 25th October, 2019 in which the college students participated. Gurleen Kaur of B.Com (Sem-IV) bagged 5th position in Amritsar and Tarn Taran district and won cash prize of Rs. 250/-. Eight students secured A++, A+ and A grade as well as certificates and shields. Ten students secured B+ grade and medals. 74 students were awarded with certificates.
Baljit Singh, Vice Chairman, Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle was the chief guest for the occasion. He expressed his views on the importance of moral values. He urged the students not to waste their time on social media instead they should make a constructive use of it. He further said that we should set big goals in life and pursue them with persistence. He congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to maintain their excellent performance in future as well. Thereafter, students were presented with shields, medals and certificates.
During the function, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia was honoured by the chief guest S. Baljit Singh. Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC also graced the occasion. This event was supervised by Dr. Rani, Head, Department of Punjabi. Dr. Sunita Sharma proposed a vote of thanks to the guests.
