Department of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women organized a DBT-sponsored two-day workshop on ‘Experimental Physics’ by Dr. Manish Dev Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
During the workshop, Dr. Sharma explained the basic concepts of electronic equipments and circuits such as Flip flops, Power supplies, LCR bridges, Low pass and High pass filters etc. Hands-on training related to these concepts was also imparted to the students. The workshop was quite informative and the students benefitted immensely from the interactions.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the department on organizing such informative and thought-provoking workshop. She honoured and thanked the distinguished guest for imparting practical knowledge of the subject to the students. Dr. Shaveta Mohan, Head, Department of Physics, Ms. Priyanka, Dr. Shally, Ms. Prabhjot and Ms. Vandana were also present during the event and expressed their gratitude towards Dr. Manish Dev for his enlightening and informative workshop.
