Department of Chemistry, BBK DAV College for Women organized DBT-Sponsored Guest Lectures on “Basic Principles and Applications of IR, UV-Visible and Mass Spectroscopy” and “NMR-Spectroscopy: Basic Principles and Applications”. Dr. Tarlok Singh Lobana was the resource person for the same.
During the interactions, Dr. Lobana dwelt on the basic concept and applications of IR, UV-visible, Mass and NMR Spectroscopy. He also shed light on its significance in various aspects of scientific research.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the Department on organizing such informative lectures. She honoured the Guest with a memento and also thanked the distinguished Guest for acquainting the students with the applications of various aspects of spectroscopy. All the faculty members and students benefitted immensely from the interactions.
