College players Rajbir Kaur, Sumandeep Kaur, Komaldeep Kaur, Amandeep Kaur and Meenakshi won 2 Gold Medals and a Silver Medal respectively, Simranjit Kaur, Vipandeep Kaur and Parveen Kaur won gold medals and Amandeep Kaur and Simrandeep Kaur won silver medals in Sr. National Dragon Boat Championship held at Darbhanga. They defeated many players from different states like Haryana, Bihar, Odisha, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia, congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. The Principal added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV remains a forerunner in sports. She said the college was always ready to help players who can make the country and Institution proud.
