NCC cadets of BBK DAV Collegiate School, Amritsar, observed ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistan in the Kargil War (1999), thus honouring its heroes. The collegiate school cadets of 1 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC, Amritsar, participated in a poster-making competition to pay homage to the martyrs of the battle and celebrated their heroism.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia extolled the virtues of the legendary heroes of the Kargil War and motivated the cadets to follow their exemplary patriotic spirit. She also hailed the persistent efforts of the collegiate school NCC wing.
On this occasion, Lt.(Dr.) Amandeep Kaur and Ms. Akshika Aneja marked their presence and successfully conducted the whole event. Co-ordinator Dr. Shelly Jaggi, Prof. Shaifali and Mr. Ashok Malhotra, Incharge Collegiate, also congratulated the cadets.
