The Tug of War Team of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar won the GNDU Tug of War Inter-College Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The college team put up a splendid show and defeated HMV College, Jalandhar, Khalsa College for Women, Amritsar, SRM College, Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, SGAD College, Khadoor Sahib, RRMK College, Pathankot and RK Arya College, Nawashehar.
Mr. Lakhbir Singh, Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Police, Amritsar and Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. Principal applauded the college players for winning record number of championships, as a result of which BBK DAV is always a forerunner in sports. Team members are: Ms. Komaljeet Kaur, Baljinder Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur, Jyoti, Mandeep Kaur, Monika Rani, Manpreet Kaur, Mandeep Kaur and Jyoti Kaur.
