Tennis team of BBK DAV College for women, Amritsar won the GNDU Tennis Inter-College championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University Campus Amritsar on Sep. 28 to 30, 2018. The College team put up a splendid show and defeated K.M.V college Jalandhar and HMV College, Jalandhar.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports. Team members are Ms AVANTIKA MAHAJAN, VANIKSHA VIJ, SUKHMANPREET KAUR AND APAKSHA. Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, Ms. Savita Kumari, Gaganpreet Kaur, Rajdeep Kaur sports teachers, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
