Once again B.B.K DAV College for Women emerged as the biggest contributor towards the prestigious MAKA Trophy, lifted by G.N.D.U after a gap of 6 years. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the Vice Chancellor GNDU, Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Director Sports, Dr. Sukhdev Singh & the faculty members of Physical Education Departments of winning colleges of G.N.D.U.
Last time G.N.D.U won this national level trophy in 2011-12, with maximum contribution from BBK DAV College. The college repeated this feat again, maintaining its glorious position unfaded. A replica of that trophy presented to the college by the then V.C is a proud reminder to the college of its unmatched contribution towards sports in G.N.D.U. The college Principal and Department of Physical Education celebrated the moments of glory with great fanfare and reiterated their resolve to give their best to sports in future as well.
