BBK DAV College for Women conducted a camp on Female Health and Hygiene, in collaboration with Unicharm Group on August 6, 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness and educate students and community members on important aspects of female health and hygiene. The camp included interactive sessions and distribution of 2250 units of products related to female intimate hygiene, ensuring practical knowledge and support for female health management.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia expressed her appreciation for the collaborative effort and said that the college was pleased to partner with the Unicharm Group to promote essential health education among the students. She mentioned that the initiative not only empowered young women but also contributed to building a stronger and healthier community. She added that the college remained committed to continuing such programs that foster well-being and awareness.
Ms. Surbhi Sethi and Dr. Nidhi Aggarwal, NSS Programme Officers along with Ms. Binnie Sharma and Ms. Sumera Narang, members of NSS committee, attended the camp.
