BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, bagged the Best Action Research Institution Award 2024-25 instituted by National EduTrust of India, an organization registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. The college has been recognized for its exceptional contribution towards entrepreneurial education and skill development, setting a benchmark for excellence in Punjab and beyond.
The college achieved an outstanding score of 95/100 in Punjab, based on a comprehensive case study of the Skill-to-Entrepreneurship Programme 2024-25. This case study highlighted the college’s extensive contribution, showcasing its innovation, research, and tangible impact on entrepreneurship and skill development.
Dr. Ramesh Arya, Vice-President, DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi, and Mr. Samarth Sharma, CEO of the National EduTrust of India, presented this prestigious award to Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia in an award ceremony organised in the college.
While receiving the award, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that this award stands as a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of the faculty and students for fostering an entrepreneurial spirit. She added that the institution is committed to empowering young minds by equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to succeed in today’s competitive world.
During the award ceremony, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia, Dr. Ramesh Arya, Mr. Samarth Sharma, and Nodal Officers Dr. Nidhi Aggarwal and Ms. Surbhi Sethi released the Vrindavan Experience poster of the project “Integrating Indian Knowledge System (IKS) into Higher Education through the Vrindavan Experience”, granted to the college by the National EduTrust of India.
