BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, hosted a memorable valedictory function titled “Fare Thee Well… Till We Meet Again!” to bid a warm farewell to its outgoing students. The occasion celebrated the shared experiences and cherished moments of their academic journey.
The programme featured vibrant and engaging performances, including dance and musical presentations. The audience was captivated by the exceptional energy, creativity, and talent exhibited throughout the performances.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the students on their accomplishments and extended her best wishes for their future endeavours. She encouraged them to cultivate inner strength and highlighted the importance of positivity, compassion, and continuous self-development. Emphasising the transformative power of education, she highlighted its vital role in empowering women and building a progressive society.
A key highlight of the function was the fashion show, which elegantly portrayed the theme “Beauty with Intellect.” Teena Uppal of B.Voc Entertainment Technology was crowned Miss BBK, Arpita Kapoor of B.Voc Banking and Financial Services was declared First Runner-Up, while Vanshika Arora of B.Com Financial Services secured the position of Second Runner-Up. Kashika of M.Com received the title of Miss Elegant, and Hargun of BBA was honoured as Miss Confident. The panel of judges, Dr. Seema Jaitley, Ms. Poonam Kohli, and Dr. Shweta Mohan, commended the participants for their confidence, grace, and talent.
The event was organised by the Youth Welfare Department under the supervision of Prof. Naresh Kumar, Dean of the department.
