PG Department of Computer Science and Applications, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, organized an enriching seminar on “Lean Start-up and Minimum Viable SaaS (Software as a Service) Product & Al Innovation”. Ms. Aarya Kapur, Digital Marketing Executive, Ms. Nanki Walia, Head of Learning and Development, and Mr. Prabhjeet Singh Kalra, Chief Marketing Officer at AOSC Technologies, were the key speakers on the occasion.
During the seminar, Ms. Aarya Kapur shared valuable insights into the role of digital marketing in the success of modern start-ups, using relatable and practical examples while Ms. Nanki Walia emphasized the importance of soft skills and the balance between technical and interpersonal competencies in the start-up ecosystem. Thereafter, Mr. Prabhjeet Singh Kalra highlighted various business analytics services like Power BI and Power Apps and discussed how Al-powered development tools are reshaping the way minimum viable products are developed in lean start-up environments.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia lauded the department’s initiative stating that such events play a crucial role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations as well as preparing students to think innovatively in a rapidly changing technological world.
