The NSS Unit of BBK DAV College for Women celebrated National Unity Day by organizing an oath-taking ceremony, during which NSS volunteers pledged to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The event was held to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia administered the Rashtriya Ekta Pledge to the NSS volunteers, exhorting them to reaffirm their unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s unity and internal security.
The volunteers further vowed to uphold and promote the ideals and vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, working with dedication and unity for the progress of the nation.
The Principal congratulated the NSS Programme Officers and volunteers for taking this initiative and emphasized the importance of collective effort in strengthening national integration.
Dr. Anita Narendra, Dean, Community Development, NSS programme officers Dr. Nidhi Aggarwal, Mrs. Surbhi Sethi also participated in the ceremony.
