Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, was honoured with Women Empowerment Icon Award at the 1st National Achievers Awards 2025, organised by National EduTrust of India, held at CT University, Ludhiana. The award is a testament to her visionary leadership, tireless commitment to women’s education, and advocacy for gender equity in academia.
The event was attended by eminent academic dignitaries including Pro-Chancellors, Principals, and other distinguished institutional representatives. It was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Saravjit Kaur Manuke, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Jagraon, who applauded the awardees for their dedication to educational excellence and community development. Mr. Samarth Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of the National EduTrust of India (NEI), praised the institutions, Principals, and faculty for their steadfast efforts towards academic progress and sustainability.
