BBK DAV College for Women, in collaboration with the National EduTrust of India, celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm, aiming to foster environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices among students. The event saw active involvement from both students and faculty, reflecting a collective commitment to safeguarding the planet.
A variety of engaging and creative activities were organized to inspire eco-conscious thinking. A Poster Making Competition provided a platform for participants to present their perspectives on environmental conservation through impactful artwork. The entries effectively highlighted critical concerns such as climate change, pollution, deforestation, and the need to preserve natural resources. A Slogan Writing Competition was also conducted, encouraging participants to express meaningful environmental messages in a concise manner. The slogans reflected creativity and a strong sense of responsibility toward protecting the Earth for future generations. An innovative activity, Eco Selfie with Plants, encouraged participants to connect with nature on a personal level. Students captured selfies with plants and shared thoughtful messages promoting greenery and sustainable living.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia commended the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by the students and staff, appreciating their efforts in making the event meaningful and impactful.
