BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar organised a workshop on ‘Makeup skills’ in the Department of Cosmetology in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) featuring expert guidance from Lakme professionals Ms. Mehak and Ms. Muskan. During the workshop, the resource persons shared knowledge regarding beauty products and demonstrated professional techniques in makeup application and hair styling. Students actively participated in the session and learnt key skills such as contouring, highlighting and evening makeup. The workshop aimed to enhance the practical abilities of students by offering them a comprehensive understanding of professional makeup artistry.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia appreciated the initiative of the department and emphasized the importance of such workshops, stating that they provide practical experience and boost students’ confidence in gaining vocational skills.
The workshop was a great success, inspiring students and equipping them with the necessary skills in the beauty and wellness industry.
