BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar organised a workshop on Makeup skills in the Department of Cosmetology on 8th July, 2025 in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) featuring expert demonstration from VLCC professionals, Ms. Geetika and her team. During the workshop, the resource person, Ms. Geetika shared knowledge about skin-care and beauty products and demonstrated professional techniques of make-up. Students actively participated in the practical session and learnt key skills like eye-make up, contouring, highlighting and application of products in the right amount. The workshop aimed to enhance the practical abilities of students by providing a comprehensive understanding of professional makeup artistry.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia appreciated the initiative of the Department of Cosmetology, for organizing such workshops that provide practical experience and boost students’ confidence in gaining vocational skills.
The workshop was a great success, inspiring students and equipping them with essential skills in beauty and wellness industry.
