Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia was felicitated with the prestigious Award of Excellence in Higher Education, during the Education Excellence Conclave 2025, organized by ZEE Punjab Haryana Himachal, held at Mohali. S. Harjot Singh Bains, Cabinet Minister for School Education, Higher Education, and Information & Public Relations, Government of Punjab, presented the prestigious award to Principal Dr. Walia for her visionary leadership, dedication, and outstanding contribution to the promotion of higher education.
While expressing her gratitude, Principal Dr. Walia said that educators hold the key to transformative change, and that must blend innovation and compassion to prepare students for successful careers as well as fulfilling lives.
Dr. Pushpinder Walia also served as a distinguished panelist during a critical discussion on “Issues in Education, Reform Needs, and the Shift Toward Skill-Based Learning.” Her insights on institutional innovation and the role of educators in shaping future-ready students were widely appreciated.
The conclave concluded with a commitment toward skill-based, holistic, and inclusive education for the youth of India.
