Students of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, brought laurels to the college by getting placed in INFOSYS, India’s leading IT company. In a placement drive, three students from BCA (Semester-V) got selected by the recruitment panel.
The selection procedure encompassed an assessment test covering logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude and verbal ability, followed by HR interview that assessed programming knowledge, problem-solving skills and personality test. After successfully clearing all the rounds, Shefali Sharma, Disha Mahajan and Navpreet Kaur from BCA (Semester-V) were offered the post of System Associate with an annual package of Rs. 2,20,000 lakh each.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia felicitated the selected students on their momentous achievement and also commended the persistent efforts of Mr. Manoj Puri, Dean, Placements and his entire team. She said that the success of our students at Infosys stands as a testament to the strong academic foundation and holistic training provided by the college. She added that BBK DAV is committed towards nurturing skilled, confident, and industry-ready young women.
