Department of Design, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, organised a competition on “Sustainable Accessory Innovation” under IIC (Institution’s Innovation Council) on 29th August, 2025. Various students enthusiastically made different accessories like headgear, belts, bags and hair accessories. The articles thus made were very innovative and aimed at promoting sustainability. Dr. Simardeep, Dr. Lalit Gopal and Mrs. Kamayani judged the event and appreciated the creativity of the students.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia appreciated the initiative of the Department of Cosmetology for organizing such workshops that provide practical experience and boost students’ confidence in gaining vocational skills. The workshop was a great success, inspiring students and equipping them with essential skills in beauty and wellness industry.
