The students of Red Cross Unit of BBK DAV Collegiate School, Amritsar, won laurels at National Inter-State Junior Red Cross Training-cum-Study Camp under National Youth Exchange Programme, organized in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh.
A total of 6 events were organised, and the collegiate school students secured prizes in all of them. The collegiate team clinched 1st prizes in the Group Song, Group Dance, Poem Recitation, and Poster Making categories, while also winning the 2nd prizes in Folk Song and Quiz.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in the future as well. She added that it is a proud moment for us to emerge victorious in various competitions featuring about 300 students from nine states across India, including Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Punjab.
Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Committee, also felicitated the winning team. Dr. Anita Narendra, Dr. Naresh Kumar, Dr. Binu Kapoor, Dr. Priyanka Bassi, Mrs. Binnie Sharma, Mr. Narinder Kumar, Ms. Akshika Aneja and Dr. Palwinder Singh were present during the camp.
