BBK DAV College for Women Amritsar, received multiple honours at the Zero Plastic, Skill and Entrepreneurship Fair 2025, organised by BBK DAV College for Women in collaboration with the National Edu Trust of India. The event highlighted the importance of environmental sustainability, skill enhancement and community empowerment across Punjab.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia was conferred the Award of Honour as an acknowledgement of her visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and exceptional guidance throughout the Fair. Her sustained commitment to eco-conscious initiatives and student empowerment was appreciated.
The College was also awarded a Certificate of Achievement in recognition of its exemplary efforts toward promoting environmental awareness and maintaining environmental sustainability under the Zero Plastic theme. The institution was further commended for encouraging skill development and entrepreneurial growth among students.
The Nodal Officers and Co-ordinators of the event, Ms. Surbhi Sethi, Dr. Nidhi Aggarwal, Dr. Aditi Jain, and Dr. Beenu Kapoor, were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for their significant contribution to the success of the Fair and for leading the college’s initiatives with dedication and excellence.
