BBK DAV College for Women organised a Dental Check-up Camp on its campus with the objective of promoting oral health awareness and preventive dental care among students. The camp was conducted by a team of experienced dental professionals from Timeless Aesthetics.
The camp was led by Dr. Shikha Baghi, Master Trainer, Founder and Managing Director of Timeless Aesthetics, along with Dr. Nazia. The doctors were ably supported by their dedicated team members, Ms. Dhriti and Ms. Sohni. The initiative was organised in collaboration with the NSS unit of the college.
During the camp, students underwent comprehensive dental examinations and were guided on maintaining proper oral hygiene, the early detection of dental issues, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. More than 100 students benefited from the free dental consultations and awareness sessions.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia appreciated the initiative and stated that health awareness is an integral part of education and that the dental check-up camp is a meaningful step towards sensitising students about oral hygiene and preventive healthcare.
The programme was attended by Dr. Anita Narendra, Dean, Community Welfare Initiatives, Ms. Surbhi Sethi, and Ms. Akshika Aneja, NSS Programme Officers.
