BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, organised a Certificate Programme in Mutual Funds in collaboration with BSE Institute, sponsored by SBICAPS. Mr. Shamsher Singh, BSE Trainer, was the resource person for the programme.
In his address, Mr. Shamsher Singh acquainted the students with the course framework and guided them regarding the regulatory exam required to become a mutual fund advisor. Additionally, Mr. Sandeep Yadav, Head, Skills, BSE Institute Limited, addressed the students and discussed the various benefits of receiving training and NISM certification in this field. Lastly, he added that this course would help them excel in the financial sector and pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
During her address, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia emphasised that this initiative is a testament to the institution’s mission of fostering entrepreneurial and practical skills among students, considering the changing scenario of the world. She also felicitated the PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration on the successful completion of this event.
Dr. Anjana Bedi, Associate Professor, PG Department of Commerce and Business Administration, also interacted with the students and encouraged them to explore and excel in such entrepreneurial endeavours. A total of 55 final-year students of B.Com, BBA and M.Com participated in this programme.
