The Army Wing of NCC, BBK DAV College paid homage to the CRPF Jawans who laid down their lives in Pulwama terror-strike. Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Advisory Committee and Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia lighted lamps in the memory of the martyrs and offered floral tributes to them. Addressing the NCC cadets on the occasion, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that the country owes its sovereignty, security and integrity to the soldiers who do not flinch from making the most supreme sacrifice of life in the line of duty. She stressed upon the need to stay united despite all differences of colour, caste, religion and political ideologies and counter any such threat to our nation as one body. She added that the martyrs who die for the country, never cease to live in the hearts of their countrymen.
NCC Cadets sang patriotic songs and recited poems in the honour of martyrs. Present on the occasion were NCC caretaker, Dr. Aditi Jain, heads of various departments and NCC cadets. Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, through his address to the students, instilled patriotic fervor in them.
