The students of the Red Cross Unit of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, won laurels at State Level Red Cross Competitions held at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College in Shri Anandpur Sahib, Ropar. The competitions were organized to commemorate the contribution of Bhai Ghanayia ji towards humanity. A total of 10 events were organised, and our students secured prizes in all of them.
The college team clinched 1st prize in the Folk Song, Poster Making, and First Aid categories, while also winning the 3rd prize in Group Song and Poem Recitation. Additionally, the students from BBK DAV Collegiate School won the 1st prize in Poster Making and First Aid, the 2nd prize in Poem Recitation and Folk Song, and the 3rd prize in Group Song competitions.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in the future as well. Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Managing Committee, also felicitated the winning team. Dr. Anita Narendra, Dr. Naresh Kumar, Dr. Binu Kapoor, Dr. Priyanka Bassi, Mrs. Binnie Sharma, Mr. Narinder Kumar and Dr. Palwinder Singh were present during these events.
