BBK DAV College for Women achieved outstanding ranks in India Today’s Best College Ranking List of India 2022. College is ranked 3rd of all the colleges of India in the category of ‘Colleges with Best Value for Money’ and is ranked 10th in the category of ‘Colleges with Lowest Fees’ for Mass Communication. Out of the list of 14 streams offered by the magazine, college applied in 6 streams and got ranks in all the 6 streams. BBK DAV ranked 31st in the stream of Fashion, 44th in Mass Communication, 49th in BCA, 77th in B.Com, 90th in BBA and 97th in Sciences. It is pertinent to note that college has been applying for this ranking for the last five years and has been persistent in scoring and improving on its rankings every year.
India Today is a prestigious weekly magazine of India and has been ranking the best Colleges of India for the last twenty five years. Colleges are ranked on the basis of multiple indicators clubbed under five broad parameters i.e. Intake Quality & Governance, Academic Excellence, Infrastructure & Living Experience, Personality & Leadership Development and Career Progression & Placement. This year’s rankings are also based on the strategic handling of challenges posed by pandemic by the educational institutions.
While congratulating the students & faculty, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that the COVID period was one of adaptation & change. As online education took over physical classrooms, BBK DAV adapted well to the new environment and kept the students engrossed in creative and learning educational activities through online mode as well.
