Dr. Lalit Gopal Parashar, Asst Professor, Department of Design, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar was awarded the prestigious ‘Guru Dronacharya Award’, in a glittering function organised in Gandhi Auditorium, New Delhi by Agnipath organisation.
The Annual Award function is a regular feature of Agnipath and 5 best personalities from all over India are selected for the honour, on the basis of their great achievements in their chosen fields & contribution towards the young generation in terms of motivation, guidance and enlightenment. Dr. Lalit Gopal Parashar was selected for this great honour because of his huge contribution towards the education of young generation. It is a rare honour for Punjab and especially for BBK DAV College that Dr. Parashar is the only one person to be chosen for this great award from the state of Punjab. He received this award from none other but the world honoured sculptor, Padma Bibhushan & Padma Shree Awardee Sh. Ram.V. Sutar, the creator of the Statue of Unity, instituted in the memory of the Iron man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel On this occasion. Dr. Pushpinder Walia, Principal, Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC & faculty members Prof. Sandeep Zutsi, Prof. Simardeep, Prof. Mandeep Kaur, Prof. Kiran, Prof. Rajni, Prof. Kamayani congratulated Dr. Parashar & wished him greater honours & awards in future.
