Ms. Gurpinder Kaur, Judo Player of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar won Silver Medal in (78kg. Weight Category) in All India Inter-University Judo Championship held at Chandigarh from 09th to 12th December 2018. Ms. Rajwinder Kaur and Jaskaranpreet Kaur also participated in this Championship.
Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. The Principal added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV remains a forerunner in sports.
Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, and Physical Education teachers Ms. Savita Kumari, Rajdeep Kaur and other faculty members felicitated the players on their achievements.
