Title: Department of Applied Arts organized a photography exhibition - 'Photo Dynamics'

Department of Applied Arts in collaboration with Department of Still Photography, BBK DAV College for Women organised a photography exhibition ‘Photo Dynamics 2017’ at college premises. Mrs. Swati Chopra, Deputy Commissioner Customs, Amritsar, was the Chief Guest.
At the exhibition, a vibrant collection of photographs showcased the work of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Around 100 photographs covering the wild life, the nature, portrait photography etc. were exhibited.
Applauding the efforts of the departments, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia said that such exhibitions celebrate the talent of the students developed in the creative environment of the college. She further added that BBK DAV College for Women stands tall as a provider of the quality higher education.
 Mrs. Swati Chopra congratulated the students on making such creative efforts. She said that the photographs reflect the creativity of the students and the hard work of the faculty.
Mr. Sundeep Zutshi, Head, Department of Applied Arts and Still Photography said that the photographs displayed at the exhibition demonstrate the passion of the students resulting in their artistic creativity.
During the programme, the department also felicitated the winners of the competition ‘Photo Funtastic’ which was held by the Department on the World Photography Day. Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, Local Managing Committee presented a vote of thanks.
